Virtual Meal Sign Up

January Virtual Meal Sign Up

You must register at the beginning of each month for the entire month. If you need to sign-up for meals after January 1st, you will need to call the School Nutrition Department at 912-729-5687.

Only a child's parent/guardian may make a meal request.

The deadline to sign up for January virtual meals is Friday, January 1st.
Meals must be picked up between 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM on Tuesday of each week.
If you have children attending multiple schools, you will be able to choose one school location to pick up all meals. The school must be a school that at least one of your students is registered to attend. 
Parents, Students, or Someone the Parents Designates for pick-up are able to pick up lunches. 
Failure to pick up meals may result in the ineligibility for future meal pick-ups. 
Breakfast and lunch are free to all students.

Virtual Meal Food Handling Instructions

  • Any food not immediately consumed should be stored properly.
  • Cold cut sandwich and baked beans should be refrigerated.
  • Frozen corn should be kept frozen.
  • All fresh produce, milk, and juice should be refrigerated.
  • Pizza and Chicken Nuggets must be kept frozen.
  • Pop tarts, cereal bars, crackers, and Crunchmania are shelf stable and may be stored at room temperature.

Frozen Corn:

Microwave 1/2 cup of frozen kernels in a microwave safe bowl on high for 1 ½  minutes, stirring halfway through. For every extra cup of frozen kernels, add on 1 minute of cooking time.

Baked Beans:

Place beans in a microwaveable container and cover. Heat on full power for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Stir, then heat for a another minute.

Frozen Pizza:

Place frozen pizza on sheet pan and cook in pre-heated oven at 400° for 17-20 minutes.

Frozen Chicken Nuggets:

Place frozen chicken nuggets on sheet pan and cook in pre-heated oven at 375° for 12-14 minutes.  For best results, flip halfway through cooking.
