Today at Camden Middle School we had the distinct honor to be a part of something truly special. Every year a student athlete is chosen by the CMS Football coaching staff to receive the Braxton Sullivan Award. Braxton was student athlete that was exceptional on and off the field. The award is given every year to the player who stands above the rest in character and hard work. This year the coaches chose Tylan Hamilton to receive this honor.

Tylan Hamilton is an extraordinary young man. There isn't a time when Tylan isn't treating others with kindness and respect. Tylan puts his all into everything he does in the classroom and on the field. If there is football Tylan is there leading his teammates and putting forth all he has and more. Tylan didn't miss a single practice or game this season.

Braxton Sullivan's Aunt, Ms. Sylvia Sullivan-Williams came to present Tylan with this honor. We are proud to honor the memory of Braxton, and encourage our student athletes to continue his legacy of kindness, hard work and integrity on and off the field.
