The Camden County Public Library is having another elementary school summer reading challenge! This is a FUN way to keep your child reading this summer and avoid the “summer slide”. For the last TWO years in a row Crooked River Elementary School has won the contest for MOST MINUTES READ and we want to win again this year!
Here’s some info about the summer reading challenge:
1. The challenge is for students AND adults so everyone can log their minutes
2. The challenge begins on the last day of school, May 24th
3. Log your minutes through https://trrl.beanstack.org/reader365 (create an account, or login with the username & password you created last year)
4. Watch for weekly updates all summer on the CRES and CCPL Facebook page to see which school is in the lead. There are also prizes throughout the summer from the library!
Let’s get busy reading this summer everyone so we can grow in our reading skills AND bring that trophy home again in August. Gooooo dolphins!
