Dear Mamie Lou Gross Elementary Bulldog Families,

My name is Mrs. Ina Patterson, and I am honored to serve as the new Principal of Mamie Lou Gross Elementary School. 

I bring 16 years of educational experience as an Assistant Principal, District Title I Instructional Specialist, and teacher in Gifted Education, 3rd grade, and 4th grade. My background has given me a deep appreciation for the incredible work that happens in schools every day and a strong commitment to supporting students, teachers, and families in their success.

At Mamie Lou Gross Elementary, we are focused on creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and empowered to grow. I am proud to work alongside a dedicated team of educators who share a passion for academic excellence, strong relationships, and preparing students for lifelong learning.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, which includes my husband and high school sweetheart, Oscar Patterson, Sr. We have five beautifully gifted and athletic children—Inaya (20), Isyss (14), Oscar Jr. (11), Osten (8), and Orion (3)—who have either attended, are attending, or will attend Camden County Schools. Go Wildcats! Our home is full of love—and pets!—including a turtle, a bearded dragon, and a few loyal dogs. I enjoy cooking, reading, traveling, and cheering on my children at their sporting events, as well as supporting my favorite team—GO GATORS!
