We had a great turn out for our Winter Performance last night. We want to thank all our students who participated and all of the families who attended.

Good afternoon! Please be aware that tomorrow (Friday, December 12th) a multi-agency school safety meeting will be held at MLG shortly after the school day begins. You will notice a significant number of police and first responder vehicles on campus. We want to ensure everyone is informed so the increased presence does not cause any concern. - Thank you

Tomorrow, December 12th is the final day for students to shop at the Penguin Patch Holiday Store. If you would like for your student to shop, please send them in with cash or a check made out to MLG.

Camden County Schools' Early Release Day is on December 19. Students will be released at 12:15pm from Mamie Lou Gross Elementary.
Note: All students will have lunch at school before dismissal.

MLG’s Running Club is hosting a schoolwide Shoe Drive Fundraiser now through January 6, 2026! Students have been hard at work alongside Mrs. Walker, sorting donations and bagging pairs of shoes. Each pair collected helps raise funds for our running club, and all donated shoes will be repurposed to support individuals and families in need.
We are still accepting donations, so it’s the perfect time to clean out those closets! We welcome any size or style of clean, gently used, or new shoes. Donations may be dropped off in the front lobby of Mamie Lou Gross Elementary School.

The Penguin Patch store opens tomorrow! Students may bring in money from home to shop for friends and family. Please refer to the information sent home for more specific details regarding your child's shopping time.

Mamie Lou Gross Elementary School's Running Club is having a shoe drive November 12th-January 8th. The drop off box will be in the front office. Bring your gently worn or new shoes.

Bus Ridership Cards

All students have been given a Bus Ridership Card. These were issued to students earlier in the year along with a clear holder for students to keep on their bookbags.

Recently, transportation has been enforcing that all bus riders must have their Bus Ridership Card on their bookbag at all times so they can check-in when they get on and off the bus.

If a student has lost their Bus Ridership Card, they will need to get a new one. Replacement cards are $2.00. Any student who needs a new card should let their homeroom teacher know so we can get a new one made for them.
