This morning we had our Month of the Military Child Parade followed by a social where the students each received an award. We were so proud to celebrate our military students and their active-duty service member parents.
5th-grade students enjoyed their CHAMPS graduation on Friday, April 11. The celebration wrapped up a year-long course with Deputy Owens.
We will be having Muffins with Moms on Friday, May 9th at 9am. Please turn in your permission slips and money by Thursday, 4/17.
MLG is excited to announce an online volunteer training option. An in-person training will still be held on April 24th at 9:00 AM for anyone who does not want to complete it online. All volunteers must submit the background check form to the Board of Education, which is attached in the online training. A paper copy can also be requested from the front office.
Events Not Requiring Volunteer Training:
• Muffins with Mom
• Color Run
• Award Ceremonies
• MLG Senior Walk (for parents of seniors who attended MLG)
Events Requiring Training and Background Check:
• Aquatic Center AR Field Trip
• Any other field trips
• In-Class Parties (Please contact your student’s teacher to see if they need volunteers as spots may be limited.)

Students in Kindergarten each received a copy of the book, "Another Book About Bears" by Laura & Philip Bunting from Great Books for Kids! We are so thankful for their donations throughout the year, and are happy to encourage our students to keep reading.
Need dinner plans tomorrow night? Come show your school spirit at our Moe's Spirit Night tomorrow April 15th from 4pm-9pm. Be sure to mention MLG when you order and 30% of all proceeds will go back to MLG.

MLG PAWS is having a Pie in the Face Fundraiser. Bring in any donation March 24th-27th and vote for which staff member you want to see get pied in the face!
The person with the most money will get a pie in the face during Field Day on 3/28!
