Camden County Schools is proud to announce that Mrs. Samantha Dixon has been selected as the district's first-ever representative in the highly competitive LEAD Career, Technical, Agricultural Education (CTAE) Program offered by the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE).

Mrs. Dixon currently serves as the Youth Apprenticeship Coordinator at Camden County High School, where she works to connect students with meaningful career experiences and workforce opportunities. She was one of only 20 applicants chosen from a pool of 148 candidates to participate in this rigorous leadership development initiative, which is designed to prepare educators with advanced skills in leadership, team building, business engagement, legislative advocacy, communication, instruction, and economic development.

the LEAD CTAE Program is sponsored by the Georgia Association of Career and Technical Education (GACTE), the CTAE Division of GaDOE, and the CTAE Resource Network (CTAERN). Participation in this program provides educator with unparalleled professional development opportunities and prepares them to take on expanded leadership roles within their schools and communities.
