Most students only see the finished product -- a polished book filled with an abundance of photos, names, and memories. What they don't see are the late afternoons, computers filled with mods and layouts, and the constant camera work around the school and at different events -- a team of students working together to tell the story of an entire year.
The Camden County High School Yearbook is more than a book—it is a student-driven legacy that preserves the story of an entire school year. Spanning nearly 400 pages and produced in just seven months, the yearbook is entirely created by the dedicated Camden County High School Yearbook Team, whose members work tirelessly to capture the spirit, energy, and pride of CCHS.
From photographing unforgettable moments to thoughtfully curating every design layout, the team is responsible for every aspect of the publication. Students write original and reflective copy, design engaging spreads, and tell the stories of CCHS athletics, academics, clubs, organizations, and student life. Each page represents countless hours of creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and attention to detail, making the yearbook a true reflection of the school community.
"The spread I’m especially proud of is softball. I love attending the games and watching the girls play, and being able to capture those moments made the spread feel especially meaningful. It truly reflects the authenticity, spirit, and energy that can be found at Camden County High School." -- Londynn Baker, Section Editor
Beyond creating the yearbook, the team forms a close-knit group that grows together throughout the process. Long hours of brainstorming, designing, and editing foster friendships and the shared excitement of seeing the book come together. The experience becomes more than a project—it becomes a community where students learn from each other, support one another, and celebrate their collective achievements.
"My favorite moment from this year was our summer training day. We spent the day welcoming and training our new members and wrapped up the evening with dinner and ice cream. It was such a special bonding experience, full of laughter I’ll cherish forever." -- Perry Hill, Copy Assistant
At the helm of the Yearbook Team is Senior Editor-in-Chief Londyn Fletcher, whose passion for storytelling and love for yearbook shines through in every page. For Londynn, yearbook isn’t just a class—it’s a way to preserve memories, celebrate her peers, and leave a lasting mark on Camden County High School.
"Being the Editor in Chief of the yearbook, has truly been the highlight of my high school career. While some nights are filled with late nights trying to meet deadlines, others are met with celebratory dinners for submission. It was those moments that made me realize the book is not just a collection of pages, but a way to look back on the special moments I experienced during my time at CCHS. Whether it be a picture under the Friday night lights or the laughs throughout the school weeks, every picture has a story. These stories are what make up the yearbook and inspire me every day to put forth my best effort when creating. I’m beyond grateful to be in this role and to be reminded daily of one saying: a picture is worth a thousand words." -- Londyn Fletcher, Editor in Chief/Design Editor
Beyond the creative process, the Yearbook Team also manages the marketing and advertising of the yearbook across multiple online platforms. Through this work, students gain valuable real-world experience in media production, graphic design, communication, and promotion—skills that extend far beyond the classroom. This hands-on learning is made possible through the guidance and support of their advisor, Mrs. Benroth, who helps students refine their talents while maintaining high professional standards.
The growth from the beginning of the year to the end is remarkable. These students come in with only ideas and concepts in the beginning, and through their dedication and eagerness to learn and grown, they build this book brick-by-brick with such care and attention to detail. The diverse set of skills they bring to the table is unheard of for kids their age. They truly want to capture these memories and present them in a beautifully creative way that their peers can look back on fondly years down the road -- Emily Benroth, CCHS Yearbook Advisor
The final result is a yearbook that does more than document events—it celebrates the voices, achievements, and memories that define Camden County High School. It serves as a lasting keepsake for students and families, and as a testament to the dedication, talent, and leadership of the students who bring it to life each year.
