School Social Work
School Social Workers work to provide students, families, and schools with resources to remove barriers to learning both inside and outside of school. They can be a vital link between home and school and collaborate with school staff and community agencies to provide integrated support for students and families.
We are available to serve any student in the Camden County School District in need of support. We work with students on any issue that hinders them from attending and achieving in school.
Many of those issues require financial assistance:

Temporary Housing
Medications
Medical/Mental Health appointments
Eye glasses
Head lice treatment
We work with families towards the goal of improving students’ social, emotional and academic well-being, fostering healthy development of the whole child.

Dr. Bianca Booker, LCSW

My name is Bianca Booker, and I am excited to lead our exceptional School Social Work Department with over 20 years of experience. I earned my Bachelor of Psychology and MSW from the University of Georgia. I went on to receive my Specialist in Curriculum from Nova Southeastern University and my Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Argosy Sarasota University. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia since 2015.
As a School Social Worker, I view education through the lens of the whole child. A student’s ability to learn is deeply connected to their physical, emotional, social, and mental well-being. Factors like poverty, illness, or trauma can impact their potential to attend and succeed in the classroom. My role is to identify and help remove those barriers so that every child has an equitable opportunity to reach their full potential. I serve as a link between a child’s home, school, and community-doing what it takes to get the job done!

Hi there! My name is Whitney Bounds, and I am so excited to introduce myself as your School Social Worker. Working with children has always been my greatest passion, and I am truly looking forward to helping our Camden County students have a happy, successful school year.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have spent the past 15 years dedicated to supporting children and families right here in our wonderful Camden County community. I hold a bachelor’s degree in health services administration from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University San Antonio.
Please know that my door is always open. Whether a student needs extra encouragement, or a family is looking for helpful community resources, I am here to support you every step of the way. Let’s make it a wonderful school year together!
Sene Coley, Ed.S.

My name is Sene Coley, and I am passionate about school social work. I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Mississippi and earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of West Florida. I earned my Educational Specialist in Curriculum from Valdosta State University.
Relationships are key! In my role as your school social worker, I am here as a resource and can help address possible barriers to student learning, such as food instability, unstable housing, mental and physical health needs, effects of trauma, or unique family needs. I came across this quote from a motivational speaker, who shared his own personal struggles and story as a child: "Every kid is one caring adult away from a being success story." I am thankful to be in position where I can help support families, students, and educators in Camden County. I want to be a link between home, school, and community and help our students continue on the road to success!

My name is Mrs. Thomeya Days, and I am entering my ninth year in education. It is a true full-circle moment to serve as a School Social Worker in the same district that helped shape me as a student. As a proud Camden County High School alumna, I consider it both an honor and a privilege to give back to the community that invested in me.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia Southern University and Master of Education in Counselor Education from Albany State University. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving students and families in a variety of roles, including as a school counselor, in higher education, and in social services.
Each of these experiences has uniquely prepared me for my role as a school social worker, allowing me to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students through a holistic and compassionate lens. My diverse background has strengthened my ability to build meaningful relationships, connect families with valuable resources, and collaborate with educators to help every student thrive.
I believe that serving others is more than a profession—it is my calling. Rooted in a strong spiritual upbringing, I approach my work with compassion, grace, and a genuine commitment to meeting people where they are. I am passionate about empowering students and families because I believe every child deserves to be seen, supported, and given the opportunity to reach their fullest potential.
