Camden County Schools (CCS) offers a centralized registration process for families registering a student in a CCS school for the first time.
If you are new to the district and have already completed the online registration process, please note that you may be asked to schedule a time to provide additional information and/or documentation.
How to Register New Pre-K Students
The Pre-K Lottery for the 2026-2027 school year has already been conducted. Please complete the Pre-K Program Waitlist Form to place your student on the waitlist. If a space becomes available, you will be contacted.
How to Register New Students (K-12)
1. Complete New Student Registration
2. Gather What You'll Need
When you register your child in Camden County Schools for the first time, you'll need to provide proof of eligibility, such as age and residency.
Acceptable proof of age includes a birth certificate, passport, hospital record of live birth, legal document, or an official document from another country.
Two (2) proofs of residency are required. Acceptable proof of residency includes a current lease, property tax notice, homeowner's insurance bill, mortgage statement, current vehicle registration form, any utility bill listing your residence as the service address, a letter from a shelter, or a letter from your employer, if your employer provides housing.
Please note: A cell phone bill or driver’s license is not acceptable as proof of residency. If a family is residing with another individual or household, a notarized affidavit from the property owner must be provided confirming where the student’s family is living, along with a copy of the property owner’s proof of residency (from the acceptable documents listed above).
Active-duty military families may establish residency by providing a copy of official military orders verifying assignment to Georgia during the school year.
Health records, such as hearing, vision, dental, and nutrition examination certificates as well as immunizations records, are required. Forms to be completed by the Camden County Health Department or your health care provider can be downloaded from the Georgia Department of Health website.
Additional documents (if available) that are helpful:
Withdrawal Information: Please upload the withdrawal form from the student's previous school, indicating the student left in good standing.
Exceptional Services: Please upload any documentation related to Exceptional Services the student has received, including but not limited to an Individualized Education Plan (IEP), Section 504 Plan, Gifted eligibility, or other relevant support plans.
4. Finalize Enrollment at School
After your Central Office appointment, you will be directed to your child's school to complete the enrollment process once school reopens for the 2026-2027 school year.
