Camden County HOSA Shines on the International Stage 🌍🩺

Camden County High School HOSA students recently competed at the International Leadership Conference in Nashville!

👏 Sophia Ball placed 5th in the world in Clinical Nursing, while Graham Fisk and Jaden Jackson proudly represented Georgia as Top 3 State Finalists.

Students connected with future healthcare leaders from across the globe and took part in leadership workshops and cultural exchanges.

🏅 Camden County High also earned Bronze Level Recognition from ABC Blood Centers for their 2024–2025 blood drive efforts.

We’re so proud of our students for leading, learning, and showing the world what Camden County can do!

🎉Congratulations to Jake Humphries! Jake, a recent Camden County High School graduate, has been named the 2025 Georgia Scout of the Year by the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States! He was recognized on June 5th at the Georgia VFW State Convention in Macon for exemplifying the highest ideals of scouting. This prestigious award honors outstanding youth across all major scouting programs — including Eagle Scouts, Girl Scout Gold Award recipients, Venture Summit Award recipients, and Sea Scout Quartermasters. Jake earned his Eagle Scout rank in 10th grade with a project that benefited the St. Marys Middle School FFA program. He designed and built a custom chicken coop that continues to support agricultural education for students. 👏 We are proud of Jake and grateful for his commitment to leadership and service! #BElieveinCAMDEN #WeAreCamden

UPDATE: Power has been restored! Thank you, Georgia Power! Power Outage at WES: A transformer has blown near Woodbine Elementary School, resulting in a power outage at the school. All students are safe, and teachers and staff are adapting with fun, memorable experiences. If parents or guardians would prefer to pick up their students, it will be an excused absence. Students can also stay until the end of the school day. Students have been fed breakfast and lunch. There is currently no internet or phone service at the school, and power could be out most of the day. Thank you for your understanding and support.
