CCHS DECA is going GLOBAL! 🌎✨
Recently, the CCHS DECA Wildcats traveled to Atlanta to compete at the State DECA Competition, and we are proud to announce that NINE students have qualified for the DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) taking place at the end of April!

🏆 State-Level Winners:
• Jaeli Blunt & Tinslee Morgan – Top 10, Sports & Entertainment Marketing Team Decision Making
• Morgan Caudle & Olivia Hamlin – Top 10, Business Law & Ethics Team Decision Making
• Allegra Eldridge – Top 10, Personal Financial Literacy (Individual Event)
• Aaliyah Clemmons & Alex Whitesel – Gold Certified, School-Based Enterprise (The Wild Way School Store)

In addition to these incredible accomplishments, CCHS DECA earned two extra competition spots through successful chapter campaigns completed throughout the year — a true testament to the hard work happening beyond the competition floor!

We are also proud to share that CCHS DECA ranked 16th largest chapter out of 200+ chapters statewide. 👏📈

These students continue to represent Camden with professionalism, leadership, and excellence in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. Next stop: ICDC!

The Camden County High School Fine Arts Department, under the direction of Mrs. Wolfe, had an outstanding weekend at this year’s Regional Literary Competition — and we could not be prouder!

Communities In Schools (CIS) works to surround students with a community of support, helping remove barriers to success by connecting them with resources such as academic assistance, mentoring, basic needs, attendance support, and family engagement.

Through this partnership, we have a dedicated CIS Site Coordinator serving students at:

Congratulations to Bevena Williams for an outstanding achievement in the arts! Bevena recently earned Gold Key honors at the Georgia Scholastic Art & Writing Awards for both of the poems she submitted — the highest regional recognition awarded in the competition.
Gold Key winners automatically advance to national adjudication, and on March 25, Bevena will learn if her work has earned national recognition and potential scholarship opportunities. She will also be honored at a state awards ceremony hosted by SCAD Atlanta, celebrating Georgia’s top young artists and writers.
We are incredibly proud to see Wildcat talent recognized at such a prestigious level. Best of luck as you advance to the national stage, Bevena — we can’t wait to see what comes next! ✨📖🐾

History comes alive at CMS! 🏛️✨
Tuesday night, their hallways were transformed into a gallery of legends for the 3rd Annual Living Wax Museum. Their students did an incredible job researching, dressing up, and presenting the stories of Black icons who changed the world.
From civil rights pioneers to modern-day trailblazers, these "statues" taught us that the past is a powerful teacher. Huge shoutout to the students for their hard work and the staff who made this celebration of Black History Month possible!
