🌟 Last week, our Matilda Harris Elementary School fifth grade scientists continued their study of constructive and destructive processes. Students shook sugar cubes in containers to observe changes caused by physical weathering and created models to view erosion and deposition in action. They then practiced classifying and ordering their models based on their observations. They even wrote claim and evidence statements to record what they observed through these labs, experiments, and demonstrations across the entire week! Great job to these fifth graders and their fearless and fabulous leader, Mrs. Purvis! 👩‍🔬🏔️🪨🥽🗒️💻📓❤️ #BElieveinCAMDEN #WeAreCamden #ScienceEducation #MHESJaguars #STEM #StudentSuccess
